‘These Words Have Immortal Power’.
Like others who have read the Padgett Messages, I was struck by the apparent effortless authority of those in the spirit world who claimed to be pronouncing great spiritual truths to help mankind. There seemed to be an invisible but clearly discernible power behind the printed words.
Seemingly, some psychics have seen or felt a spiritual light enveloping the printed Padgett volumes when handling them. Those who are not psychic to any notable degree may well still get a gut feel that the Padgett Messages are special. Like in my case, I’ve heard many converts say that they knew their search for truth was finally over once they started reading the Padgett Messages.
In fact, one of my concerns when I set myself the goal of summarising the many truths that Padgett received was whether this unseen power would be lost in my version. When I raised this issue with my celestial guides, they told me that to some extent the unspoken influence of those who communicated with Mr Padgett would, in fact, be lost but that nevertheless, they would help ensure that all that was required would be presented.
I also recall that one of the first things my celestial guides ever said to me in attempting to convince me that I was actually in communication with them was, ‘There is immortal power in these words’, something that only a divine being could rightfully claim.
It’s not entirely surprising that the power of divine love, which is inextricably intertwined with divine truth, should manifest itself in ways that extend beyond mere written words. After all, divine love and truth are the living representations of God’s own power and truth.
